Written in the Stars
It was a clear winter night at an observatory high above the city lights. Seraphina was mapping distant galaxies through the telescope when Alexander arrived, late for the same stargazing event. He stumbled in the dark, knocked over a tripod, and she turned to find a stranger silhouetted against the Milky Way.
'I'm sorry,' he whispered. 'I was trying to find Orion.' She smiled: 'You're looking the wrong way.' They spent the rest of the night tracing constellations together, and when dawn painted the sky violet, neither wanted to leave. Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Theirs began with a wrong turn and the right sky.
